It cranks over but no spark

Check for 12 volts to the ignition coil pack feed wire, (usually dark green / orange), any injector, or either small wire on the back of the alternator. You will find 12 volts for one second after turning on the ignition switch. What you need to determine is if that voltage comes back during cranking. If it does not, suspect the camshaft position sensor or the crankshaft position sensor.
