I recentely bought LED bulbs to put into the front turn signals. When installed they wanted to hyperflash so went to autozone and picked up a resistor. When I installed the resistor they still want to hyperflash. THe buld has three wires coming to it, a blue, brown, and black. I connected the positive (red) wire of the resistor to the blue (positive) wire of the light wiring and then the Black to Black which should be the negative. I even tried Red on the resistor to the brown accessory wire and still nothing. What could it be?

Flashing too fast is a result of the circuit not drawing enough current, as in when a bulb is burned out. If you installed LED bulbs in front and in back, you'll likely need a resistor with each one.

Put the original bulbs back in, verify everything works properly, then replace just one bulb at a time with its resistor. If you did just install these in the front, either the resistor is between the wrong terminals or you need one of a lower value. A typical turn signal bulb draws close to one amp. That calculates out to 12 ohms of resistance. You'll need about a 15 to 20 ohm resistor along with one LED bulb to draw an amp of current.
