Just recently I have been problems with the blower on my 04 Silverado. It quit working so I unplugged the resistor and plugged it back in. It started working again but now only works intermittently. I can wiggle it a little bit here and there when its not working and it'll kick in. I have the dual climate control and even when the fan doesn't work 100% I still have a slight air flow of heat is if the fan was on 1. What is going bad? Is it the wiring harness, blower resistor or blower motor?

See pic and call dealer this may be fixed for free. If not harness is $100 approx. And resistor is 60 from gm parts direct.

I would replace the blower motor speed resistor and clean and enhance the electrical connectors terminals. Here is the location and how to replace the part correctly. I would replace the blower motor as well because it can cause the resistor to go out. Check out the images (below). Let us know what you find.
