2003 Saturn Ion starting engine

Turn key on and attempt to start it clicks wait five minutes and try to start it wants to start turns over but dose not start wait five more minutes it starts like nothing wrong it starts ok for the next couple days then it dose it again new battery, new battery cables new fuel filter new starter rnew fuel lines

So when it wont and leave the key in the run position is the security light on solid or flashing? Those cars are known for bad ignition switches causing interment no starts.
