my left directional was coming on in the nutueral position I was told it was the switch so I had a second hand one put in and the high beams didn't work so they installed a second one and it has worked for a cpl. months and is again doing the same thing if I turn it to the right it turns off until the right one activates and then goes to normal mode for awhile. I would like to know if we are looking at the right issue or is there other causes it was not a cheap fix even with the second hand switch I like the car but if this is a issue with the switches I would consider a reconditioned 1 Thanks Jim

If the actual signal was actuating when the switch was in the middle position, it does sound like a switch issue. I have to be honest, these cars can be an electrical nightmare.
