2002 SAAB 9-3 randomly blows headlight fuse. Tried new headlight bulb and fuse of course. Sometimes last for days and other times weeks.

The fuse for the right side, or left side? Low or High beam? Has there been any body repairs or collision damage that may contribute to a possible short? From my schematic it is fuses 6, 7, 8, and 9 possible for right and left low and high beams. Which one blows?

It is the right side(passenger) high beam. No on body/collision damage. Just started out of the blue. I did see a white paper on line that specific 2002 models had a control module that adjusted the intensity of the high beams? Wondering if that could be the issue....

It is blowing a fuse? The lamp control module can be responsible for a high beam that won't light, but I have not seen one blow a fuse. Usually the soder joints inside the module itself open possibly due to heat. You can try tapping on the lamp control module, it is the larger orange part in the underhood fuse block, the size of a relay, but taller.
