Door Lock Mechanism is only working when the key in the ignition is turned to ON.
This happened after I removed the radio.
Cars affected: '03 Elantra, 02 Lancer
I suspect it's a wiring problem, just can't tell where.
In both, the after market radio receives power when I connect the battery wire, accessory and ground it, but the radio does't light up.
The radio only lights up when the accessory an batter wire from the car contact each other. When the wires contact I when the clock on the car works and the door locks work.
Another issue in one of the cars, the remote unlock button does't work after radio removal.

Please Advice.

Did you use an adapter harness to install the radio or did you cut into wires?

I Cut into the Wires. I know it's crude but that's how I wired my first radio fix.
Can you kindly provide a way forward?

Other than tell you to put it back the way it was and test all your fuses, I have no other advice Heaven only knows what damage has been done.

Well. Seems Like I found Heaven. I fixed the Both of Them. Replaced the interior lighting fuse in the Elantra. The lancer was missing that same fuse and I put it in. Everything's working as it was.
Thanks for your help though.
