Civic burning oil

Oil consumption is not habitual to Honda, it happens to ALL cars if the age of the engine is old.

Seals will leak due to hardening over age and if oil treatment are used, it accelerates the problem especially if the engine is not used regularly.

The main item causing the problem are the valve seals, which if replaced can reduce the oil consumption by at least 70 %, that is my modest estimate based on experience. No head removal required.
