where do i find the fuel pump

going douwn the road there was a loud bang .then it stopped running like it was.it startted getting hard to start.then runs bad,uses fuel.now it starts when it wants to.some say its the cat,or o2 sensor,and now fuel pump because fuel comes out the tailpipe.so i want to get it out and have it tested if it can be

If you have fuel coming out the exhaust, it sounds like there is no spark to the engine to burn it. As far as the fuel pump, it is in the fuel tank. If the check engine light came on, have the computer scanned to see if there are trouble codes.
