2003 Ford Crown Victoria cascading electrical woes

Within two days, I had several electrical problems with my '03 CV Sport. First, I went to go to work in the morning, I pushed "automatic" on the HVAC, and nothing happened. The door pots moved, but no fan. The next day, I tried to open the door using the door pad. Nothing. I opened the door with the key, and found the door locks, key pad, and inside trunk release to be dead. I have bypassed the wiring harness on the blower motor to the battery with a separate switch. The blower motor blows quiet (albeit on high speed). When placed on "auto", the dash pot changes from recirc to fresh, and changes temp as the car cools off. The dash mounted unit is less than 2 years old, purchased new from the dealership for $500. Just no power to the motor.
I ran a REAL diagnostic (not one from Auto Zone), and was told that a resistor has failed in the HVAC. This is an digitlal system. I don't believe there is a resistor in the circuitry. I may be wrong. Then I was told that the door control module is cooked, hence, door lock failure. But before all of this, I did a little searching, and I feel that the body control module may be the culprit. I searched where the module was located, and there were 3 locations. I found a module behind the glove box, wrote down the numbers, and relayed that information to the dealer. They called it the drive train module This is all very confusing. As hot weather approaches, I really need to get my HVAC system working properly without having to open and close the hood every time I need the fan to operate. Any help would be appreciated.

The bcm has nothing to do with the hvac there are 5 resistors in the audio climate control system so whoever you took it to was probably right. These are no picnic to work on or repair.

Thanks. They quoted me a price of $42, so I can call myself lucky. What would you say is wrong with the power locks?
I've never had a problem with them, however, the little lights or led's that illuminate the buttons for the doors work intermittently. Could this be an indicator of a door module failure? Your input is gratefully appreciated.

Scan it to see if its the module but it could be broken wires in door post there is a lighting module in cneterof dash for lights so that may be going bad as well or wire problem.
