When I turn the key to start the car, it sometimes just clicks. When that happens, we turn the key back to the off position and then try to start it once again and it starts. Sometimes it takes more than once turning it off and on to get it to engage the starter. We are concerned that it may not start sometime.

When I first read this post, I questioned that the battery was weak. However, since it does eventually start, I will assume it is good. Now, are the battery terminals tight and clean? Is there corrosion on them? Also, is the ground that goes from the battery to the engine clean and tight? If everything looks good, then I would suspect that the starter solenoid is going bad which requires the replacement of the starter itself.

Let me know some of the specifics.
