I have a 2003 Chevy cavalier. Starter replaced 2 months ago, battery replaced last week. Stopped on my way home from work, car wouldn't start. No sound at all. Gauges are dim, as well as the dome light. When I open the door there is static sound from the radio for a few seconds & the speedometer & tachometer depress. Is this a ground problem? Please help!!

check battery even new they fail. or it may be a charging problem. also check battery ground and terminal ends for clean and no corrosion. or if some one has put battery protector on terminals it may have melted making a bad contact. also check fusible links and fuses to under hood fuse box.
