2002 Saturn Vue acceleration problem

Please help. This Tuesday was the first time I have had a problem with this car bought it used and now the engine light went on it can go more then 1 hour driving them when it's time to accelerate on the gas it's very slow the rpm goes up but not the speed then the speed will kick up. Please help me single mom with disabled kids just need some advice.

Does the reduced performance light come on when theres a problem? ALSO Iam going to need you to go to a auto parts store and have them scan it for codes. Then let me know the exact code numbers not code descriptions?

It could be a bad throttle body and throttle body harness really common on those.
