Greetings,

After and extensive cold spell up here in Northern Ontario,-50 Celcius, I noticed my DRL light on and I was unable to use my high beams.
The next day I no longer had low beams either so I basically have an undriveable vehicle at night.

I checked all my fuses and they are fine.
I pulled the module and found 2 broken joints that I have resoldered however the lights still do not work.

What else can I check?
Can I just bypass the DRL all together to get my headlights back?

Thanks

I have checked the relays and the bulbs and both were fine.
My wife, who uses the car for her nightshift, just advised me that the lights were also dimming prior to this happening.
I have also removed all the fuses for DRL without resolve, I'm thinking about using a sledgehammer next ......

Try manually grounding the headlight relay to see if it works.

With DVOM, test the headlight relays terminals 2 or 3 for battery voltage.

If no voltage, check fuse # 19 (80A).

If battery voltage is available, remove headlight relays and use a fused jumper between terminal 1 and 2 of relay.

Check headlight bulb Red/Yellow and Red wire for battery voltage.
