Why does my car still make noise after replacing ball joints and strut?

So... I had new front struts replaced. I still am hearing a noise--not as bad as before the strut was replaced--but it happens when I break or push initially on the accelerated. It is almost like something is hitting or rubbing on something else. I had the ball joints replaced in mid July and the strut just last week. Is this something that happens to a car with nearly 90000 miles on it or is it possible my mechanic is doing something that is making things keep happening?

It sounds like a bushing or something like that. Have them check sway bar bushings, control arm bushings, even the motor mounts or trans mounts if you hear it when you accellerate. And no, it shouldn't do that because it has 90K on it. Something is worn.
