i had the left ball joint and axel snapped in the process the neutral saftey switched changed also

The car makes a funny noise when i try to put the car in reverse it no longer engages can that be due to the neutral safety switch.

I kind of doubt it ti is the switch have a trans guy check it may be a torque converter or something inside trans.

you may also have a bad axle so he can check that as well
