When coming to a stop around 2mph car bumps (limp mode) I think. Turn car off then back on, shifts fine until coming to a stop again. I have done a lot of research and found no real answer to the problem. I have heard change input and output sensors which I have done. Checked TCM grounds and connectors, all ok. Is the last thing to do is replace the soleniod attached to the valve body? Can it be cleaned if I do it? I just don't know? I have been a certified mechanic for a few years now, but not that familiar with transmissions. Some guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Has the check engine light come on? Did you check the TCC?

Oh yes, I forgot to add that.P0700, p1776, p0871.
As for the tcc, I have noticed that while at cruising speeds and while holding the gas and tapping the brake the tc is not engaging. There is rpm change, which there should be.I dont feel the TC engaging or disengaging. Is that what you were asking about?

The P1776 or 871 are causing it to go into limp mode. The 1776 sets when the L R pressure switch closes when attempting to actuate the TCC. After 2 attempts, the PCM will set the code and put it into limp mode. The 871 is set when the pressure switchs are opened or closed when shifting should occurr. I THINK you are getting that code because of the 1776, but testing of both need donw. The P700 is to tell you to read the trans codes. As far as tests, there is a list of procedures for both. I wish I could send them, but I can't copy and paste from our online manual.
