I have a 2002 grand caravan. It doesnt always start. Have done a few things to get it started. The most thing used to get it started is to pull the number 2 plug wire and check for spark. Seems to start after a few cranks after I do this. Then the problem will disappear for a while.I dont want my girlfriend to have this problem at work. Seems it takes 2 people to correct it. She works about 20 miles away so its not like I can get there to help her out. Please help. Have replaced plug, wires and ignition coil pack

Check the crank sensor. Check the coil. Also, if it hasn't had plugs and wires installed reciently, it may be time for a tune up.

One last thing. Make sure the fuel pressure is where it should be. For directions on how to check it, go to our homepage and look under the DIY section.

Talked to a friend of mine and we have found out what it is. It has a gremlin in the wiring going to the pcm. Everytime so far when we looked at it though it hasnt done it. We has the ciol wires marked so when it happens I no which wires to wiggle that lead to the ciol pack. Another thing to say when righting about this problem.I have seem it alot on this and other sites.

Thanks for that info. I'm sure it will help others. You're right about the wiring harness to the PCM. Check to make sure none of the pins pushed in and are not making good contact. Also, corrosion can cause it too.
