Ok, im gonna give a little back story with this so you know exactly whats going on. I was driving from Ohio to Virginia I must have ran out of fuel since the engine had died and I had to coast to the side of the road. I called a friend who brought me 2 gallons of gas which I then tried to start the engine and it wouldnt start at which point he goes and gets me a little more gas approx a gallon to a gallon and a half and the engine still wont start. The next day I buy a can of starting fluid and spray a little into the throttle body and try to start the engine and it starts but as soon as the fluid is burned off it stalls even if im pressing the gas pedal down. So I have the vehicle towed to my friends house and we check the fuel pump and you can hear it turn on, we check to see if fuel is making it up the fuel rail and at the schrader valve in which we are, obviously we are getting spark as the vehicle does start with starting fluid but stalls once burned. So the question I have is what could be causing fuel to no go into the cylinders? From what I am told it is not likely its clogged or dirty injectors as its not likely all 6 injectors went bad or got dirty at the same time, so what else could it be? I havent checked the fuel pressure to see if it is at the 60psi yet, hopefully tomorrow on that. So is there anything I havent checked that could be the problem?
