If the security light isn't on when it isn't starting then you need to check for spark when it doesn't start. Take off two spark plug wire's that are right next to each other on the coil pack's and have someone crank over the engine and see if a spark jump's from post to post. If the engine cranks over normal when it doesn't start I wouldn't suspect the battery.I would have it tested just to be sure though.
