2001 Pontiac Grand Am Wont Start

Replaced clutch master cylinder and car would not start. Replaced ignition switch still no start. Battery is less than 6 months old and has been checked and tested good.

Do you mean the starter won't engage? If so, have you checked to make sure you didn't damage or unplug the clutch safety switch?

Starter cranks when current is sent directly to starter but will not crank when using the key. Where is clutch safety switch located?

I believe on this vehicle it is right under the dash on the pedal.
