2001 Olds Aurora - I have had the transmission rebuilt and have had it back in the shop for a speed shift sensor replaced; but at time still having a HARD SHIFT issue between first and second gear. (Noticed this happened twice when it was raining).

Wait until the work shop has sorted the sensor problem ands see if this helps with the hard shift, let them know about this problem, they may be able to do a scan to check the system for any transmission fault codes set with this hard shift.
