96 Oldsmobile Aurora Automatic V8

The car does not shift out of first gear. Not sure if any of the other gears work or not. I was told that it would shift at a very high rpm. It was border line red lined and still would not shift so I have never been able to get it to shift out of first. I have pulled the DTCs and this is what I have come up with.

P1860

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi I had the same problem first thing to check is the 15 amp fuse this is located when you open the drivers door and look at the side of the gauges you will see a little door open this and you will see the fuses , I think and this is just from memory m its the second row in and 4th fuse down 15 amps hope that helps si
