should my front drive line on my 2001 ranger have any play

On my 2001 ranger I have a superlift with a superlift front drive line and I can grab it and turn it like half an inch either way is that normal on 4wd vehicles to have it move like that I dident have the truck turned on or in 4wd u joints don't clank or move if I shake it

Something is worn then. Check to see where the play is coming from.

There is no clank noise when I turn it or shake it

The drive line was replaced when the super lift was put on and the truck only has 75000 miles so idk there is a little vibration in the steering wheel but I think its cause the alterain tires and the lift
