Car was running this morning. Parked in garage. Went to restart and I have dash lights. The ABS light seems to stay on longer. The car will not start and when I push on the brake the lights go out. Release the brake and the lights come on. I have the key in ignition indicator that works? We have snow and slush on the streets. Would the car start if there was a issue with the ABS or does this sound like something diffferent?

If the lights go out when you apply the brakes, then either you have a nearly dead battery or there is a bad connection at the battery. Check the terminals first to make sure they are clean and tight. If they are, then you need to remove the battery and have it checked at a parts store. Most do it for free.

Let me know what you find.
