I recently replaced the water outlets that cool the thing that runs the belt. They were cracked and replaced the thermostat. The car ran fine for about 2 wks or so. Then it would randomly shut off while I was driving. I had the codes checked and it came back the master air flow sensor need to be replaced. So I replaced it and replaced the plugs and wires just to be on the safe side. Now this morning I had the car on and idling in the drive way and noticed that it was overheating and that my heater was not working at all. I sut the car off. It cooled down and I started off to work and stayed cool as long as I was going fast but as soon as I slow down or stop at a light the gage goes right back up and as I was pulling in to work after a 45 m in drive my heater decides to work! Can you please tell me what the heck is up with this goofy car?

OK, first understand that the codes don't tell you to change anything. They merely record data and present it. The actual cause has to be determine by technician testing.

It sounds like you may not have gotten all the air pockets out of the system. Also make sure the fan is working. You also need to understand than the system is programmed to run hotter at idle. The fan isn't even programmed to come on until 225degrees or higher.
