I have a 2001 Chevy Cavalier and needed a new thermostat and gasket.. Mechanic damaged the part that houses the thermostat. Went to auto stores and they have no idea what part is and no one has the part.. What do i do?????

Right the auto stores keep sayin they dont know what it is and a thermostat housing does not apply to my car

Tried NAPA or the dealer?

I got the part from junkyard THANK YOU. NAPA dont carry it, have to go to dealer
