Engine dies while driving. It only happens every couple of months and usually after driving more than 20 miles. It will start again after 5 minutes and runs fine. I checked for trouble codes while it wouldn't start
and there are none. I replaced the fuel pump.

you really need to determine what is missing when it won't start.that i know that is really hard to do on an interrmetent issue like this.i can tell you this much,i have seen many icm's cause this problem on this car,it will get hot and qiut working and you will lose spark, then after a few minutes it cools off and starts.i would suggest that you remove the icm and take it to a parts store, they all can test them, and have it tested, ask them to test it three consecutive times in a row to get it hot.the icm is what your coils bolt to ,follow the spark plug wires to the coils, under the coils there will be a flat module about 8 inches long and four inches wide.mark everything as you take it apart, especially the location of the spark plug wires.please let us know what you find out.
