Okay, cool, since you're missing that orange power wire going to the motor lock, let's check this connector for any issues, corrosion, pin issues, etc. It's the main connector going from the engine compartment to the TCCM and motor. I've highlighted pin H which is that orange wire you powered up (the motor lock circuit). This should be a 16-pin connector, driver side rear of engine compartment, near where the harness runs through the firewall. Let's hope our issue is there.

Pin H comes from the atc fuse directly.

Do the colors match? In this setup I don't see an orange wire running to the motor though, this is all that's in that connector if it's only the 7 pin. There has to be another connector then.

So, you don't have an orange wire running to the transfer case motor? Or are there 2 connectors on the motor? Where exactly are you missing power? Only the TCCM?

That connector is only for the TCCM motor controls A and B, and the TCCM Encoder channels, it's not the power feed for the TCCM. Thats why there's no orange wires, are you missing power at the TCCM? Is that what you're trying to check right now?

Well, there's multiple orange wires, I think that's where we're getting confused about, if that last aftermarket diagram I gave you is correct, the TCCM has 2 connectors and only 1 orange wire which is labelled B+. Is this correct?

Okay. So, you have the 2-speed selectable transfer case setup. Those 2 bottom orange wires come from the atc fuse, they both branch off that one fuse. And on the OEM diagrams there are no connectors between the under-hood fuse panel and the TCCM. Marked in green is where the harness runs through the firewall. So, if one of the lower orange wires is missing power, then checking the output at the fuse panel E5 and D5 connector C1 needs to be checked,

Back probing this connector while plugged in is probably the best idea, in case there is a voltage drop issue in the connector. This under-hood fuse panels are prone to corrosion on the underside of the boxes.
