Engine sputtering stalling out

Hi My Name Is Orlando Hernandez And Today While Driving Home I Went Over A Tree Planter And My car Was Fine For About Five Minutes And And Then In Wanted To Give Out On Me :Keep In Mind That There Were No oils Visablie: Or Any Other Fuilds I Made It Home But Now My Check Engine Light Is On And In Idle It Wants To Die Please

Hey guys, I've been having this problem for awhile now, but it hasn't been as bad as it has been. When I first started having this problem my car sounds like it is going to start, sounds like it does but then just dies. A couple tries later it works or if I feed it gas as i'm turning the key and this helps to turn it and keep it on. It then worked without problems for awhile then the same problem started again, but then this time it wouldn't stay on even with giving it gas, it would die immediately after I let go of the pedal. I took it in and they cleaned the body throttle and it has worked for a month w/o problems but now it's happening again. Any help would be appreciated.

Tapping on it worked! The car now starts and idles, albeit at a pretty low RPM. What are the next steps? Am I supposed to clean the IAC motor, and is that something I can do myself?
