We just had the water pump and timing chain replaced in our 2000 pontaic grand am. Now the car makes a loud noise similar to a helicopter, and vibrates a lot, it now also stalls if idle at a light for a long period of time. It did none of the above prior to having it serviced, what could it be?

I would get it back to who ever did the work, they must re check what they did, something is not correct, ask them if they may have over tensioned the timing belt and check that all the connections and vacuum lines are correctly attached.
