I hooked my scanner up to it to check the code. It connected to the car then disconnected from it. After it disconnected the car wont start or reconnect to the scanner. It is not the battery I checked the battery and the terminals. I have full power to the car. When I try to start it, it doesn't crank or anything. Not sure why it wont start.

Hi and welcome to 2CarPros.

My first suggestion would be to check all your fuses under the hood and in the car. A test light would be the quickest way to test them all.

Here is a guide to help you with that:

Let me know what you find.
