I having to pull the moter to rebuild due to crankshaft end play is almost 3/8 of an inch and it has been making a horible sqealing sound and when you push the crankshaft in it stops ! Never seen this ever. Lol. Second I need to replace the transfer case to trans gasket but dont know where to but or start to look for? What would cause a crank to fail like that? Never in my life have I seen this and I hope the conecting rods are not hurt from all the movement. Any sugestions or guidence will be greatly appreciated =)

thanks

That is from normal wear. The rods should be fine, but make sure you replace bearings. As far as gasket, you should be able to get one at a parts store. They may have to order it, but should be able to get it. If they can't a dealer will have one or you could contact a trans shop and get one from them.
