Ok so I've had a few problems with the fuel system already, I've replaced the fuel pump twice before I figured out there was a short in the wiring, fixed that and it's been fine so far. But this morning, heading in to work it died 3 times. I let it sit for a minute and started back up, well at least 2 of the times. I've been looking online and all of the symptoms point to faulty spark plug wires. The only thing is it hasn't been missing at all and this is the first problem I've had since I replaced the fuel pump which was no more than 5000 miles ago. I'll also add my fuel gauge has been stuck on full since I replaced the pump so I've accidentally ran the tank empty a few times before, hence why I thought it was just out of gas. I just want to make sure what's wrong before I go buy anything I didn't actually need, what do you think?

if you have run it out of gas a few times since pump replaced check fuel pressure with a gauge. you may have fried another one since the gas lubes the pump. also clean throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner.
