My driver side door lock clicks intermittently and drains my battery to the point I cannot start the car. I pulled out the fuse on the interior fuse box that completes the circuit for the horn, interior light, and the door locks and it stopped (also the interior light does not work anymore and the horn will not toot). I had no problem for months with the doors. Then I had Tires Plus work on an engine issue (they cleaned the ignition block, and did a couple of other repairs) and now the interior light turns on and the door clicking is back and my battery is being drained. When I confronted them with this, they just kept telling me I have an electrical problem. When I told them I had broken the circuit for that problem by removing the fuse, they say it was not their fault they did nothing with the electrical system. I have had training in electricity, and know that a circuit must be complete for an object to work. What could have happened to bring about the light working again and the door back to draining my battery overnight?

The door locks keep running and drain the battery? If so look at the drivers door lock switch see if the spring is broken that keeps it centered so the door locks don't stay on.
