Engine won't start after sitting for 5 minutes

I parked my car for five mins and got back in it to take off and it won't start. It cranks over just fine, but seem's like fuel or spark isn't getting into the engine. So I checked fuses/relays everything is ok. I sprayed starting fluid into the intake an I've checked all fuses and relay's all are fine. I believe is could be something to do with the Ignition system.

If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it, while you check for spark at the plugs. If you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure. How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? Your security lite isn't flashing?

The year was in the title but it must be too long. 1999 pontiac 3.4l grand am se. I've already checked for spark and fuel flow there isn't any of either. I went through all of the fuses and relays everything was fine. I turn the key on and it will crank over but not fire. When I turn on the key none of the start up lights come on (in the dash) and I can't here the fuel pump running or and of the computer conponents that make electrical noises in the engine bay. I tried ether in the intake to see if it would fire but no response. I tried a ohm meter on the plug wits and no current it's like the key can relay the power to the starter but the computer isn't getting it to run or function.

Sorry and there was no security light flashing. No lights at all work. But the radio will still work while the key is on as well. The DRL's don't turn on when the key is place in the on position either.

Start by checking all the fusible links and test the ignition switch

Ok thank you. So when I was checking relays and everything in the fuse box as a redundancy thing the lights came on in the dash, I tried starting still nothing. However the car would fire with ether. Then randomly the lights turned off and no response to the key again other than the starter. Also if I turn the switch for the headlights they will come on. I will check the fusible links next. Ignition switch question is it in the dash behind the key someplace? When my friend looked it up on all data we couldn't figure out if it was behind the gauges or behind the key switch. Thank you ahead of time I appreciate the time and thought.
