1999 mazda b3000

brakes were working fine then all of a sudden now pedal goes to floor and brakes work very poorly. abs light and brake light are illumitated on dash now,

There's a leak in the hydraulic system. Check for a puddle under the car, inside the rear wheel backing plates, and by the front wheels. If no external leak can be found, check the fluid level. If the reservoir is not empty, suspect an internal leak in the master cylinder.
