My 1999 ford escort - No spark or fuel pump operation. Has the security system disabled these systems.

After the car sat for about a year I went to boost the car and it wouldn't start. Checked for fuel and had no fuel pressure. Fuel pump is nor working. Checked for spark and it has no spark. Replaced the crank position sensor with no results.

Follow up from my 1999 ford escort that wouldn't start after the battery went dead. I was able to get info that the security system had disabled the ignition and fuel pump. The solution was to leave the key in the run position for 10 minutes, and then try to start it.
Well the car started right up after that. That procedure unlocks the disabling feature.
Thanks for your help.
