1999 Dodge Stratus elctrical

The door alarm does not go off once the car is moving and the lock sensor buzzes trying to lock the door. The beeping and the buzzing continues for as long as I drive the car.
Also, something is draining the battery. I guess both problems are relate.
Please help,

I agree that both are related. Do me a favor. Check the wiring between the door post and the door itself to see if the wiring is damaged and something is shorting to power. If that check okay, I would then remove the lock button from the door and using a multi function tool to check continuity, I would check to see if the switch is broken and sending power all the time.
