What would cause a 99 chevy lumina to turn over and not start after a head job, when its getting fuel and fire to the spark plugs?

It was running good and had high oil pressure. Just replaced head gaskets and now it wont crank. There is no way to mess with the timing by just taking the heads off. It does not have a distributer and the timing chain is all on the block along with the cam that runs through the block.
