Got this truck from a friend in August, he replaced the fuel pump and when he did he left the rusted box off of it. Well this December I try to start it and it would not start. Cranks well but no fire. It is a plow truck, so I pull it in the barn and keep it on the charger for a couple days and finally it started. I plowed the driveways and parked it, next day, nothing! Crank no fire.
It has no box and the top of the gas tank is exposed and also the filler neck broke off. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

The first thing we need to do is see if there is spark and the engine has fuel.

Here are three guides that will help us get started:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-an-ignition-system

and

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator

and

Please let us know what you find.

Cheers, Ken
