1998 Saturn SL1 Front Wheel Bearing?

Front Wheel Bearing? Roars sometimes but only on certain roads, if this is wheel baring problems wouldn't it do this all the time, these are bran new tires as well. It also doesn't do this often, just ever now and them, confused. Also could someone direct me as to how to check this on my car. Thank you Margaret Shields Tall, FL

Drive your car on an empty street if possible. Weave gently back and forth in big shallow sweeps. If its a bearing it should get louder on the effected side when youre turning that way and then quieter when you turn the other
