I would think so but I never worked on one. Can you measure the resistances in the switch? How many wires are on the switch, one or two? If there is only one, there will be something metal on the switch that has to be grounded. The manual shows a different ground location so I'm guessing there are two wires on the switch.

Ok. I was making more work than necessary. I just pulled the wire harness off the old one and plugged it in. I plugged in the security lock switch and turned it. The doors locked and unlocked, so I am on track. I am in process of putting the new BCM back in and will initiate the procedure you outlined above. Will let you know how it goes.

DONE>>>> HOORAY! It works! Ok. Thank you thank you thank you.

One last question. Will anything be adversely affected if I leave the new harness in without the security switch?

All right. One in a row! Happy to hear it's working. That switch rests in the open state so leaving it out is the same as not turning the lock cylinder with the key. You will not be able to arm or disarm the alarm from the lift gate, that's all. Thank you for the resistance values. I added some notes to my service manual in case I run into this again.
