I have an intermittent stall condition, will start fine when car sits for a few hours, and die once warmed up, I have replaced DIST and Crank Sensor (purchased from dealer)I can make car stall by wiggling crank sensor harness. Once the car stalled I had a buddy crank it over while I tested voltages out of the crank harness, I get 8V on the supply, I get 5 volts on the signal wire(no fluctuation) and the sensor ground checks good for continuity with the PCM connector. What confuses me is, if its a wire problem, I would think I would get no voltage on either the 8v supply or signal wire when it cranks and not start, The solid 5v on the crank signal wire to the PCM would lead me to believe its a bad sensor? Obviously I also do not get 12v on the ASD output during cranking b/c the PCM isnt getting the flucuating voltage from the crank sensor. Thoughts?
