The problem is my truck does not want to start when it is cold or hasn't been started in a day or two. It cranks and cranks before it finally hits like it's not getting the proper fuel pressure. My question is what should be the pressure on the fuel line test port? This is a 1998 chevy Silverado with a 5.7 litre {350} cfi {multiport fuel injection]

60-66psi if lower than that replace pump. Also it should hold pressure for 5 minutes after shutdown that year needs a different pump with a different harness connection, the wiring should be replaced about a foot back and that harness should come with anew pump as it's aadifferent connector.
