I have a 1998 Chevy Malibu. My head gaskets blew. We bought a Kit to replace it, had someone put it on, but they only did part of the seals. When they cranked it up after changing the top seals and the oil, water got into the spark plugs and the oil. Do I have to buy a new motor or can it still be fixed? If it can be fixed do I have to buy a whole kit?

That depends on how much it was driven after the water got into the oil. If it wasn't run much, then you should be able to replace the gasket and change the oil. If the engine is already making noise, then it's probably too late.

It wouldn't start up, and there is no knocking that I'm aware of. Can we use the kit we already have or do we need to buy a new one?
