A/C repair for 1998 Cavalier

I have owned my car for almost 6 years and the a/c has never worked. The car has over 200,000 miles on it. Would it be too much on the engine for me to get the a/c working again?

Would not think it would be a problem as long as it is running well now.

I agree with Doc. That A/C won't harm the engine but you do need to decide if a car with that many miles is worth investing in the A/C repair.
