I saw the temp gage rise as i was driving, it got warm, but not "HOT". I pulled over at a store and after it cooled, I added more water. drove it home. when I learned what the gasket kits and a new battery costs, i waited for my tax return. after I did all this work it, it ran, but felt to me like crappy gas. I hope i answered your question.

Test the fuel if it has water-or use gas treatment
