How extensive is it to replace the intake gasket and what is the price range to do so?

Hi:
This is a somewhat involved process. If you are not comfortable working on cars, I would recommend you have it done by a mechanic.

Because I don't know where you live, it's hard to give you an estimate. I would imagine parts and labor would be around 350 to 400 dollars.

Also, is this a 3.1L? If so, this is a very common problem.
