I need to replace my entire exhaust system. I live in canada, so things ten to get rusty in the snow. What would be the cheapest and most efficient way to replace it? I asked the mechanic at the garage but his price is a little to steep for me. According to the internet, its really easy to replace it myself.

The worst part of replacing an exhaust is trying to get the old rusted one off. Once it is off, it is a matter of sliding the new parts together and clamping them tight. I feel confident that most parts stores will be able to get the parts for you. My guess is that you need from the catalytic converter back. The converter usually doesn't rust out.
